Our Philosophy
At House of Kaisar, enduring furniture begins with proportion, structure and material integrity. We approach furniture with the discipline of architecture, believing that what lies beneath the surface is just as important as what is visible. Every material is selected not only for its beauty, but for its ability to perform, age gracefully and retain its character over time.
Carefully Selected Woods
We work with premium hardwoods and natural veneers including Teak, Walnut, Oak, Ash, Mahogany and Sapelli. Each species is chosen for its distinct grain, strength and timeless appeal. Natural variations in colour, texture and figuring are characteristics of genuine wood and contribute to the individuality of every piece.
Veneers & Surface Finishes
Natural wood veneers allow us to celebrate the richness and depth of timber while achieving refined and consistent surfaces. Depending on the design, surfaces are finished with carefully developed stain and protective coating systems that enhance the grain while providing durability suitable for everyday living.
Engineered Foundations
Where structural stability requires it, we use BWP (Boiling Water Proof) grade plywood and engineered substrates selected for strength, dimensional stability and long-term performance. Internal construction is designed to provide rigidity and reliability without compromising aesthetics.
Metals & Hardware
Metal elements are crafted using stainless steel and premium architectural-grade components. PVD finishes are executed on SS304 stainless steel to achieve lasting elegance and resistance to corrosion. Drawers, hinges, runners and functional fittings are sourced from trusted manufacturers to ensure smooth operation and durability throughout years of use.
Stone, Marble & Glass
Selected designs incorporate natural stone, marble and glass elements that bring depth and sophistication to a piece. Tempered or toughened glass is used wherever required for enhanced strength and safety. Variations in veining and texture are inherent characteristics of natural stone and should be appreciated as part of its uniqueness.
Upholstery & Fabrics
Comfort is achieved through carefully engineered upholstery systems. High-resilience foam, supportive cushioning and Dacron fibre wrapping are used to provide lasting comfort and shape retention. Fabrics and upholstery materials are selected for their texture, appearance and suitability for everyday living, offering both visual warmth and practical performance.
Protection & Preservation
Timber components undergo preventive anti-termite and anti-borer treatment before assembly. Throughout production, components pass through multiple stages of inspection and finishing to ensure consistency, structural integrity and attention to detail.
Craftsmanship
Each piece is produced in limited quantities by skilled artisans and specialised workshops. From joinery and veneering to polishing and upholstery, every stage requires patience, precision and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Rather than pursuing mass production, we focus on creating furniture that reflects considered design and meticulous execution.
