Shipping & Delivery

Made-to-Order Production

All House of Kaisar products are individually crafted and produced specifically against confirmed orders. Typical production timelines are approximately six to eight weeks, although certain custom specifications, finishes, materials or logistical factors may require additional time. Estimated delivery schedules are indicative and shall not constitute a guaranteed delivery commitment.

Delivery Coverage

We deliver across most serviceable locations within India through carefully selected logistics partners and specialised furniture carriers. Delivery schedules may vary depending upon destination, accessibility, weather conditions and local transport limitations.

Payment Prior to Dispatch

Products are dispatched only after receipt of complete payment, including any applicable taxes, freight charges or agreed ancillary charges. Dispatch schedules shall commence upon confirmation of payment.

White Glove Delivery

Where available, delivery may include careful handling, placement within the designated room and minor assembly. White glove services are subject to site conditions and may vary by location.

Electrical connections, wall mounting, dismantling of existing furniture, plumbing work, civil modifications or specialised installations are outside the scope of delivery services unless separately agreed.

Site Readiness and Accessibility

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that products can be safely transported and installed at the delivery location.

Prior to placing an order, customers are advised to verify

  1. Main entrance dimensions.
  2. Lift dimensions and capacity.
  3. Staircase width and turning clearances.
  4. Corridor and doorway sizes.
  5. Ceiling heights and access restrictions.
  6. Parking and unloading facilities.

House of Kaisar shall not be responsible if products cannot be moved into the premises due to inadequate access.

Staircase and Manual Carrying Restrictions

Large furniture pieces are designed to be transported through standard lift and doorway access. Products shall not be manually lifted through staircases, balconies, windows, facades or external structures unless expressly agreed in writing.

Where specialised handling, cranes, hoists, additional manpower or third-party services become necessary, all associated costs shall be borne solely by the customer.

Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  1. Absence of the customer or authorised recipient;
  2. Restricted site access;
  3. Incomplete balance payment;
  4. Refusal to accept delivery;
  5. Inability to move products into the premises due to access limitations;

the delivery shall be treated as unsuccessful.

Any subsequent delivery attempt, transportation expense, handling charge or additional manpower costs shall be chargeable to the customer.

Delivery Rescheduling and Storage Charges

Customers requesting postponement of delivery after the products are ready for dispatch may do so subject to availability.

House of Kaisar may provide complimentary storage for up to seven calendar days from the date of readiness for dispatch. Thereafter, storage charges may be levied at the rate of 1% of the invoice value per week or part thereof, subject to a minimum charge determined by House of Kaisar.

Extended storage periods may not always be possible, and House of Kaisar reserves the right to arrange dispatch or recover reasonable warehousing costs.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are requested to inspect products at the time of delivery. Any visible transit-related damage, shortage or discrepancy should be recorded immediately and reported to us within twenty-four hours along with photographs and videos.

Claims raised after installation or after prolonged use may not qualify as transit-related concerns.

Split Deliveries

For logistical reasons, certain orders containing multiple products may be delivered in separate consignments. Partial deliveries shall not be considered a delay or breach of delivery obligations.

Risk and Transfer of Ownership

Risk associated with the products shall pass to the customer upon successful delivery at the designated location. Ownership shall remain with House of Kaisar until full payment has been received.

Refusal of Delivery

Unreasonable refusal to accept products after dispatch shall not constitute cancellation of the order. Any costs incurred towards transportation, warehousing, handling and re-delivery shall be recoverable from the customer.

Force Majeure

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, fire, strikes, transport disruptions, governmental restrictions, pandemics or acts of force majeure.

In such circumstances, House of Kaisar shall make reasonable efforts to minimise delays; however, delays arising from such events shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, compensation or damages.
